Business Analyst(s) – F/T Permanent Positions

Our Business Analysts are responsible for interacting with clients to collect and analyze their business requirements and transfer this knowledge to the development team. They must gain an in-depth knowledge of our product and our clients’ business, and provide specific input on developing aspects of the product that will meet the client’s business needs. Candidates should have experience in IT projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to Program Managers, Software Project Managers, and our Director Of Account Management on the status of clients’ requests and needs.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), user interface guides, and functional specification documents.
  • Work with clients to support their needs for changes, enhancements, and improvements on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage client expectations and keep them informed and updated on the status and progress of requested changes.
  • Work with the product team (offshore and onshore teams) to identify common requests and client concerns to share business knowledge and design product improvements.
  • Provide suggestions to the development team during the development stage of a product to meet the client’s business needs.
  • Communicate effectively with external clients and internal teams to deliver a product’s functional requirements like screen, interface, and GUI designs.
  • Document the acquired results of analysis and workflows and obtain sign-off from the appropriate client representatives.
  • Design and execute test scripts and test scenarios.
  • Coordinate with the business units who test, validate, evaluate new applications and functions, and determine issues in services and software.
  • Manage any change requests related to the working project plans daily to meet the agreed deadlines.
  • Train clients on using the software and optimizing their business processes.
  • Once you are fully trained and familiar with our products, there might be moderate travel to clients to gather requirements, provide training, and test user acceptance (UAT).
  • Candidate should be prepared to demonstrate writing and data-flow diagrams during the interview process.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of experience as a business analyst for software or technical implementations.
  • Analytical, creative, organized, and independent personality.
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with clients.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • First-hand experience creating documentation (BRD, Functional Specs, Technical Documentation, Testing/QA Scenarios, Release Documents, User Guides, etc.)
  • Experience or comfort working with international and remote teams.
  • Understanding of SQL 2008, SQL Web server, and SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint), remote desktop (Citrix, GoToMeeting), and change/issue tracking systems.
