Primary Purpose:

Drive compensation product and sales support to solicit new business from Insurance carriers by evaluating business requirements, making presentations to internal and external sales executives and support delivering presales demos and Proof of Concepts.  Drive product development to insure functionality, usability and timeliness of delivery.  Provide Subject Matter Expertise to implementation teams through requirements.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working with the presales team and sales develop compelling functional demonstrations of VUE software
  • Present at sales opportunities and events
  • Provide product direction by evaluating the market and providing business plans
  • Provide detailed product requirements including researching options, defining use cases, workflows, and doing screen mock ups
  • Managing design process and approving product designs
  • Project management to drive development and testing
  • Insure usability in design and usability testing is completed
  • Develop or manage the development of product documentation
  • Support development of marketing collateral materials to include product sheets, whitepapers, blogs, pamphlets, videos, and presentations
  • Carry out reporting and other required administrative duties
  • Handle special projects as requested which may include, but is not limited to, attending special events with agents and assisting with organization or agency seminars and education classes.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • Demonstrated compensation software product expertise
  • Previous experience in working within the Insurance sector
  • Demonstrated presentation skills to executive management
  • Demonstrated business planning experience
  • Participation in product development – agile, automated testing
  • Team member on insurance application projects
  • Solid understanding of the Insurance industry and organizational relationships of the company
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid U.S. State-issued driver’s license required
