VUE Software’s agile software product owners are called Implementation Managers. As an implementation manager, you will work to deliver projects of high complexity and large scope, working collaboratively with our team and our clients to devise the ideal solution to meet our clients’ needs using our industry-leading insurance software products.

You will ensure processes and solutions align with business objectives, while working collaboratively within the technology and business units to achieve the stated objectives, measurable goals, and project deliverables.

VUE Software implementation managers are essential members of our team, and this is a high visibility role with strong opportunities for advancement.



  • Serve as point of contact for clients for product solution design, functionality and delivery.
  • Knowledge of overall project and understanding how it fits in client’s business objectives
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the software development team.
  • Manage all the requirements in the project and stay informed of all communication regarding the project.
  • Deliver finished, high quality, and compelling software products.
  • Manage Resource Planning and Resource Productivity
  • Ensure every effort is planned, estimated, tracked to meet the project goals.
  • Build and lead development and testing projects supported by engineering personnel.
  • Work with product management team, support team, and professional services team to understand customer requirements and software issues.
  • Assist the management team in defining product direction, including in-depth engineering analysis of current and future software products.
  • Work closely with product managers to ensure results meet or exceeds customer requirements, including ensuring that product designs are documented and communicated.
  • Provide sound decision making for software engineering and product development, sensitive to the constraints and needs of the business.
  • Drive overall architecture, security and certifications of software products.
  • Manage the software engineering schedules to meet or beat deadlines.
  • Monitor technology trends such as emerging standards.
  • Develop and execute software engineering plans, schedules, and resource allocation including managing joint development with 3rd party vendors and outsourced development efforts.
  • Develop, document, and enforce software engineering processes to ensure reproducible high-quality results within cost constraints.
  • Engage in hands-on, in-depth analysis, design, and review of software developed in-house as well as third party technologies.
  • Monitor and help triage/assign defects on a timely basis to team and provide help in quickly resolving them.
  • Provide employee development, teambuilding, coaching, and mentoring
  • Conduct performance evaluations on a timely basis and communicate to the team member with appropriate feedback.
  • Support employees by procuring and maintaining software tools, test equipment, and engineering lab resources
  • Handle multiple projects and manage the time and deliverables appropriately.
  • Willingness and ability to travel per Project needs (up to 50%)

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7+ years’ experience
  • Insurance Industry experience preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Proficiency with MS Project and MS Visio preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to create systems and user documents and similar documentation
  • Experience with high visibility projects, comfortable and skilled at reporting status and issues to C-level management
  • Experience managing all phases of the SDLC for application development efforts
  • Experience documenting business work flows and reengineering work flows to leverage new system and technology capabilities
  • Experience managing development projects using an Agile development approach
  • Able to motivate and lead a team (both US and India teams).
  • Strong software product development and engineering process skills.
  • Ability to excite and motivate employees, partners, and customers with a compelling vision.
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Ability to successfully execute multiple projects simultaneously and allocate resources to meet deadlines and cost constraints.
  • Knowledge of the VUE suite of products is a plus.
  • Knowledge of VUE architecture and technologies used is a plus.
  • Knowledge of VUE Tools like Admin Configuration, Integration Manager, Deployment Manager, Horizon STS and Document Manager is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Horizon Workflow and Rules Engine is preferred.
  • Experience with VUE tools like RADMan and IncidentTrack is a plus.
  • Experience with Agent/Agency compliance modules like NIPR, PDB is preferred.
